MIXED METAL OXIDE (MMO) PRODUCTS
The MMO division manufactures dimensionally stable anodes from titanium tubes, wire and mesh. The anodes are used for the protection of buried or submerged pipelines, under and aboveground storage tanks, reinforced concrete and other buried metallic structures, as well as the inside of water tanks. The MMO Anodes are produced using Grade 1 or 2 titanium, to the ASTM B338 standard. The active mixed metal oxides coating consists of Iridium and tantalum oxides and are suitable for both oxygen and chlorine evolution.
BARE MMO COATED TITANIUM TUBULAR ANODES
MMO anodes are used as part of an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection system. This CP system is favoured (over a sacrificial anode CP design) when the project requirements are large.
Diameters available: 19mm to 32mm
Lengths available: 500mm to 1500mm.

MMO anodes are used as part of an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection system. This CP system is favoured (over a sacrificial anode CP design) when the project requirements are large.
Diameters available: 19mm, 25mm and 32mm with respective connection..
Lengths available: 500mm to 1500mm with respective connection.

Mesh anodes are used to protect buried pipelines, underground and above ground storage tanks and other buried steel structures.

BARE MMO COATED TITANIUM MESH RIBBON ANODE
Mesh anodes are used to protect buried pipelines, underground and above ground storage tanks and other buried steel structures.
Mesh Ribbon anodes, are manufactured in the same way the 40mm X 1220mm X1mm mesh anodes are. The only difference is that the ribbon anodes are 13 mm
wide and can be ordered in meters, according to the desired length for use.
BARE MMO COATED TITANIUM WIRE ANODES
Wire anodes are used to protect buried pipelines, underground and above ground storage tanks and other buried steel structures. Shorter lengths can be placed in an anode canister, filled with petroleum coke, while longer anodes can be placed in cotton socks, also filled with petroleum coke. Long wire anodes are supplied with copper cables to connect multiple lengths of anodes.
Diametres available 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2mm, 3.2mm.
Coil length available: 100m and more
WIRE SOCK ANODES
Wire anodes can be supplied in a CALICO bag which is 50m wide, and as long as required by the customer. The bags are filled with coke breeze,
and the wire anodes can be joined inside the bag, to make up the desired length of the sock anode.
GALVANISED STEEL CANISTER
Impressed current wire anodes can be placed in a Galvanised Steel Canister, filled with petroleum coke. This is useful where hole loading methods might not be practical.
